“Visitors can easily download product templates of textile items in order to customize them. But only after being approved as a contributing designer – by communicating a decent online portfolio – members are free to upload any textile design they want, without having to make artistic or commercial compromises.
However, to obtain a zero-risk situation for the designer, Envelop doesn’t manage a real, physical stock: everything stays digital until it’s actually ordered. Every single purchase is then cotton printed and assembled in Belgium by means of an eco defendable production process. Moreover, it contains a unique label featuring the designer’s as well as the receiver’s info. For every sold item, the designer – who, by the way, always stays the owner of the design – immediately receives a part of the sales price as royalty.”
